Casual Cook - Opal Bossley Park

As a Cook, you will be responsible for:

• assisting the head chef with the creation and effective delivery of nutritious meals for the residents ensuring dietary requirements are met.
• responsible for breakfast preparation and cooking
• ensuring the catering service is safe and of high quality that meets resident needs.

Our ideal candidates will be able to demonstrate the following:

• Trade cooking certificate.
• Ideally 1+ years experience in an appropriate and equivalent role preferably within an aged care/hotel environment.
• Certificate III or Cert IV in Commercial Cooking (essential).
• Demonstrated understanding of legislative requirements (WH&S, Fire/Evacuation, Infection Control).
• Excellent interpersonal and time management skills.
• Pride in the quality of the food and meals that is produced in the kitchen.
