The Role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse, with strong clinical skills to move into an Assistant Manager role at our Regis Woodlands facility.  This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your management skills and advance your career in Aged Care, whilst being supported and mentored by an experienced Facility Manager.

This role creates the perfect stepping stone for someone to progress into a Facility Manager role. Your commitment and dedication will be imperative, as will a demonstrated pride in service excellence, to enable success in this role.

As an Assistant Manager, your role will include:

  • Completing a thorough on boarding program and developing the knowledge and skills required to be a Facility Manager
  • Full oversight of the Catering, Laundry, Maintenance and Administration areas
  • HR and staff management
  • Management of the facility P&L
  • Sales and Marketing of the Facility
  • Interacting with the residents and their families daily
  • Working closely with your leadership team and frontline staff to ensure a positive, friendly, helpful and effective culture
  • Ensure compliance with all WHS processes

Your experience:

  • Nursing qualification
  • Previous experience in a leadership role
  • Advanced customer service skills
  • Knowledge of legislative compliance
  • Experience in managing employees.
