Harvest & Soul- Catering & Events (part of the Australia-wide Venue Management Services group) is a dynamic catering & events business that is expanding in Melbourne.
We require a Team of awesome Food & Beverage attendants to service our event venues in inner Melbourne.
About the position:
- This is a Casual position on Hospitality Award rates
- Shifts are available over 7 days
- Event venues are located in inner eastern Melbourne
- Multi-purpose event venues that will host a variety of private and corporate events from 10 to 500 guests

- Reporting to the Venue Manager & Group General Manager

Your responsibilities will include:
- The efficient / fast service of food & beverages
- A high level of customer service
- The ability to set up & pack down functions
- To assist with the upkeep/ cleaning of the working environment and operational requirements
- Adherence to food hygiene and occupational health & safety standards
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience in a functions and events hospitality environment (or 5 star hotels)
- A passion for great food and customer service
- The ability to carry a tray of drinks and 3 plates
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent personal grooming
- A positve 'can-do' attitude & the ability to smile!
- Good time management skills & an ability to prioritise and multi-task
- To be able to take ownership & responsibility
- Ability to work proactively to help others in a team environment
- Availability across 7 days - day & evening
To succeed in this role, you will have previous experience in a similar role working in a busy function/ event environment.
- You will be able to work unsupervised & can communicate effectively in a team. You will be a very well presented and self-motivated individual who has excellent organisational & communication skills.
