The Position
We are currently seeking experienced Café Team Members to join the Cafe team to deliver an exceptional customer experience. This includes customer service, processing transactions, utilising your barista capabilities, assisting with food preparation and delivery and ensuring the café is clean and tidy at all times.
These positions are being offered on a casual basis, working a variety of shifts on a rotating roster. (6.30am – 5.30pm, Monday to Friday and Saturday and/ or Sunday as required).
The successful candidate will have:
- A willingness and capacity to embrace the mission and values of St John of God Health Care.
- Demonstrated Barista and hospitality experience.
- A sound understanding of Health & Food Safety requirements and food preparation.
- High-level communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively both autonomously and as part of a team.
- An understanding of infection control principals as they relate to the food services industry.
- Sound planning and organizational ability, including the ability to prioritise tasks and cope with competing demands.
- Must be available for a range of shifts (morning and afternoon) across a 7-day roster.
