Our Roastery, based in Collingwood, is the heart of our business and the crew who run it are responsible for the roasting and distribution of coffee to our customers. They are well trained, hardworking, love coffee and what they do.
Maintaining an inspiring leadership style that develops, supports and motivates our Roastery team is critical for this role as well as preserving our high standards in beautiful coffee, customer service and operational efficiency.
You'll want to make a positive difference through your work, always be open to listening and learning, passionate about great tasting espresso and enjoy being part of the community that surrounds it.
Being a well-considered thinker who naturally simplifies rather than complicates carries a lot of weight around here. Forward planning, being organised, delegating (and getting your hands dirty) are all vital to this role.
Although you'll be spending most of your time in the Roastery, you will be a critical part of our broader team so communicating effectively throughout our business in a professional and sincere way is important.
The right person will be able to balance all of this with knowing when to keep it light and have a laugh.
