RESTAURANT MANAGER

ANVERS CONFECTIONERY

Reporting to the General Manager, this role is diverse, unique and entrepreneurial. The company is after a strong leader to achieve maximum success

You will be part of the team working on the redevelopment, redesign of an iconic Tasmanian tourist destination located on the NW Coast.

You will be working at a stunning tourist venue, coupled with an exceptional reputation and track record; the stage is set for the right person to come in, optimise the brand experience within the site featuring manufacturing, café and retail store; and deliver incredible sales growth through appropriate marketing and operation excellence.

Key resonsibilities of the manager include but are not limited to:

  • Analysis and understanding of local, national and international market trends and competitor activity to identify business leads
  • Develop and implement creative local marketing channels, including social media channels
  • A strong sense of vision and purpose, and innovation management, plus an ability to oversee physical change within the site
  • Ensuring brand compliance standards are exceeded and maintained
  • Passion for sales and achieving targets and KPI’s; an ability control labour and food costs, working to set budgets and targets
  • Organisational skills - keeping work schedules, shipments, cleaning schedules and being organised is crucial to the job. This includes demonstrated ability to plan, prioritise and organise work load s
  • o as to meet deadlines including dealing with competing demands.
  • Proven experience in working in a cross-functional team environment with a strong commitment to a high level of customer service.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a range of internal and external stakeholders, build and maintain effective relationships with team members, clients, suppliers and customers
  • Influencing and relationship management
  • A commitment to prioritise hygiene, food handling and health & safety procedures or other compliance requirements
  • Attending functions and events to ensure excellence
  • Be professional and well presented
  • Be confident, patient, friendly, sociable, reliable and self-motivated

Desired profile:

  • Minimum 10 years' hospitality management experience
  • Have local market knowledge
  • Ability to work effectively with the site rejuvenation process
  • Implementing best practices in F&B, sales & marketing
  • Strong operational background with "hands-on" attitude to daily operations
  • Implement budgets, optimise revenues and manage costs
  • "Driving" the business goals and brand awareness
  • Great team player, motivator and natural leader
