Due to internal movements, we are looking for a Guest Experience Supervisor (Duty Manager) to join our confident and internationally minded team who know how to exceed guest expectations. 

 

Under the general direction of the Guest Experience Manager on shift, you will be responsible for the operational efficiency and true hospitality of all guest facing areas including Reception, Concierge/Porters and Food & Beverage during shift and the service delivery in line with brand standards.  You will be responsible for being the manager on duty as required.

 

You'll also check billing instructions and monitor guest credit.  You will approve discounts and rebates, analyse the rate variance report to ensure rooms revenue control, take action in emergency situation and be fully conversant with all hotel emergency procedures.  You will also be responsible for on-boarding new colleagues, championing projects within the department and running team briefings.

For this vital role, we're looking for someone who has:-

  • A passion for true hospitality, customer service, team work and problem solving
  • Previous Front Office supervisory and duty management experience in a hotel is highly regarded 
  • Working knowledge of hotel property management systems such as Opera
  • Understanding of point of sales systems such as Micros 
  • WA drivers license
  • Ongoing availability to work various shifts across 24 hours a day including evenings, over-nights, weekends and public holidays
