About the role:  


We require someone who is not only passionate about great food and service but also carries the skill set to reach targets and carry out a successful service and busy nightclub trade.

We require someone who is professional yet fun to offer our casual dining experience, take initiative and lead a strong team. 

The position offers a full time role with the day to day running of the well-established venue and a fresh team.

You will need to have impeccable time management, organization skills and able to motivate and develop your team.

You will be working a mixed roster, generally 2 days and 3 nights per week

You will be working closely with the Licensee, assisting and leading the Operations team to reach labour and cost of goods targets and the future development of the business. 

Responsibilities:

  • Hands on management of the venue
  • People management, including rostering and management of labour costs
  • Meeting company targets within approved budget constraints
  • Implementation of staff training & development matrix to ensure a consistent "industry best" customer experience
  • Management of back of house operations including; auditing, stock control, uniforms, invoicing and banking
  • Ensuring policies, procedures and standards are current, effective and clearly communicated
  • Venue compliance for licensing, work health & safety and company policy
  • Cash Management & reconciliations
  • Overseeing security personnel

To be successful in the role you will:

  • Promote and develop effective communication between all members of kitchen and front of house staff
  • Have impeccable food and beverage knowledge and are up to speed on current industry trends and culture
  • Be a real all-rounder, able to comfortably switch between roles within the business
  • Have experience in rostering, stock control and POS systems
  • Have strong leadership traits in order to promote motivation and a positive workplace culture amongst all team members
  • Possess excellent time management skills and be able to work to deadlines
  • Adhere to the demanding and sometimes inconsistent hours that are prevalent in the hospitality industry
  • Have had at least two years in a similar role within the hospitality industry
