Established Restaurant & Bar – Inner West of Brisbane.
The Grove Ashgrove is continuing to grow in reputation of providing high quality and fresh foods with a focus on Classical and Modern cuisines and standards.
We are now looking for a Chef Qualified or Experienced Cook to join our professional Kitchen Team for the following responsibilities
- Take control of the preparation & service for the Larder and Dessert sections
- Be responsible for control of the Pass and Food Dockets in this busy environment
- Assist the Head Chef with preparation for the Main Menu & Patisserie Menu
Working with a dedicated and friendly team and a supportive, experienced and hands-on owner, we are looking for the following:
Key Criteria:
- Be a Qualified Chef or experienced Cook with previous experience working in a busy A La Carte or Café kitchen
- Able to produce high quality food preparation as required for our existing and new Menus
- Be experienced in A La Carte kitchen service adhering to consistently high standards and quality
- Previous experience in Larder and Desserts and able to run our well organized Pass
- Be hard working, reliable and well organized for food preparation and Service
- Have a positive attitude, willing to learn and be a respectful team member
- Be aware of the Food Safety guidelines and WPH&S
- Able to work Set hours including Days, Nights and Weekends.
- Have a view to securing a long term position with our established business
- Must have previous working experience in Australia
- Able to commence as soon as possible
