Beach House Seaside Resort is currently looking for an experienced activities co-ordinator to join their activities team. The primary purpose of this position is to organise and provide recreation activities for our guests staying at the resort, taking into account the needs and interests of individual members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organise and run the various activities offered to guests in a responsible manner with equipment and support guests in their enjoyment of activities
  • Accurately keep record of equipment use by guests such as bikes, tennis racquets, putt-putt
  • Brief guests on use of water equipment
  • Record any equipment maintenance issues and carry out various maintenance work as required (i.e. bike repairs)
  • Ensure the equipment and recreation areas are kept neat and tidy ensuring all WH & S guidelines are followed
  • Working with children during school holidays in the Kids Club
  • Driving the resort bus for pick and drop off airport runs and activity days out such as Mount Tamborine run

Key Skills & Attributes

  • Requires the applicant to have a First Aid Certificate
  • Requires the applicant to have a blue card
  • Requires the applicant to have a RSA
  • Preferable for applicant to have a LR Driver's Licence (can be provided on the job)
  • Weekend work essential on a rotating roster
  • Must be a team player
  • Must understand and work within the guidelines of the employee Code of Conduct at all times
  • Understand and adhere to WH & S standards at all times
  • Must be able to follow direction
  • Have a strong focus on Customer Service Standards at all times
  • Previous experience in a similar preferable
