Serco has partnered with Transperth to operate their Call Centre and Information Centres based in Perth, assisting Perth metropolitan public transport passengers by providing up to date travel information in a timely and efficient manner.

The position:

We are now seeking applications from energetic, driven, customer focussed Team Leaders to develop, mentor and motivate our staff. You will be passionate about providing a high level of customer service, ensuring this is delivered at all times. You will have the ability to rally a team behind you, develop a fun and engaging workplace, where staff feel supported and enjoy coming to work each day.  You will assist the staff with feedback and escalations along with maintaining service delivery by monitoring staffing levels and work volumes. To be successful, you will need to demonstrate:

Essential:

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and adapt to change
  • Strong computer skills and written/verbal communication
  • Innovative and proactive approach
  • Well-developed interpersonal and emotional intelligence skills
  • Flexibility to work a rotational roster between Sunday to Thursday 5am - 12:30am, Friday and Saturday 5am - 2am

Desirable:

  • Call Centre experience
  • Previous experience in a leadership role, including coaching and development
  • Customer Contact Certificate 3
  • Knowledge of the geography of Perth and its transport system
