Our new Sonoma Cafe in Braddon are looking for an excellent  Chef de Partie to join our friendly passionate team. As a Sonoma team member, you must champion quality and consistency every day without compromise.

PURPOSE

The Chef de Partie is required to prepare and deliver consistently excellent menu items to customers that reflect Sonoma’s quality standards. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Execute all required menu items and serve efficiently to Sonoma standard
• Liaise with front of house team on all orders
• Supervise the Kitchen Assistants and oversee the execution of preparation and delivery of menu items
• Maintain and service all kitchen equipment as required
• Ensure service area is always clean and set in an orderly fashion
• Ensure that the Kitchen Assistants adhere to the store’s cleaning roster by ensuring that all tasks are completed to standard and carried out within the time period designated
• Ensure that all stock on hand is correctly labelled, stored, rotated and that old stock is used appropriately

• Experience in a similar position
• Strong service and rapport building skills
• Staff management
• Availability on weekends and public holidays
• Customer focused with clear communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Hard working & enthusiastic attitude
• Eye for detail
