Do you believe you are a strong leader who will be able to oversee our kitchen operation at the Hervey Bay Bayswater Bar & Grill.
We are seeking an experienced qualified chef to join our team.
The successful applicants must have experience in working in a very busy kitchen environment.
Our new team member would need to have an out going personality, be a team player, with exceptional customer service skills.
Must be knowledgeable, presentable, polite and considerate, able and confident to work unsupervised.
Job tasks and responsibilities
Requirements of role:-
- Strong leadership skills
- Ability to cover Head Chef on days off
- Hands on approach
- Lead and Manage staff to company standards
- Motivate staff
- Exceptional communication skills
- Experience in ordering products
- Undertake monthly kitchen stocktakes
- Menu planning and costing
- Seasonal menu changes - keeping up with trends
- Maintain rosters and manage wage control
- Ability to deal with conflict, both customers and staff

Must have previous experience in a la carte, upmarket food, grill and modern Australian cuisine
