Key Responsibilities of the Role:

Assisting the Head Chef with the following duties:

  • Direct food preparation and culinary activities
  • Modify and create menus that meet current industry trends and quality standards
  • Estimate food requirements and food/labour costs
  • Supervise and manage a diverse kitchen team
  • Rectify arising problems or customer concerns
  • Efficiently running the pass
  • Comply with sanitation regulations and safety standards
  • Manage your staff rosters and breaks
  •  Stock ordering and control

Key Attributes of the Applicant:

  • Proven experience in a similar supervisor or management position within a hospitality environment
  • Ability to resolve problems efficiently
  • Capable of delegating multiple tasks
  • Communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to motivate and manage a team effectively in a fast paced environment
