Petit Early Learning Journey Port Douglas is a purpose built boutique childcare Centre , focused on the holistic learning and development of children. We aspire to provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment that is supportive towards children's social, emotional and cognitive development.

We would like to invite an experienced and dedicated cook for our purpose built centre.

We require a passionate, friendly and energetic individual who will be responsible for the following:
•Planning nutritionally balanced meals
•Together with your Centre Director, you will periodically and seasonally review menu plans, and develop nutritionally sound menus that are within centre budgets.
•Ensure menus are displayed appropriately throughout the Centre.
•Ensure you have a clear understanding of the special dietary needs, allergies and food preferences of the children in the Centre and with the Director and Group Leader's ensure that these needs are met.

To be successful in this role, the applicant must:
•Hold relevant food handling certificates (Commercial Cookery Cert III preferred or food safety supervisor's certificate.)
•Hold a current and up to date Blue card or be eligible to apply
•Excellent record keeping and organisational skills
