Duties and Responsibilities:

\* Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate

\* Organise & control the entire Operations and Management of restaurant.

\* Planning Menu and consulting with Directors and Chefs for the items to be included in the Menu.

\* Analyse recipes to decide costs for food and labour and assign menu prices.

\* Checking day to day stocks and maintains stock list, order stocks and arrange for purchase of the products/goods.

\* To purchase & price the goods, products and stock as according to the budget.

\* Maintaining record of financial transactions, including day-to-day sales, expenses, payment of wages to staff, expenses incurred on phone bills, Electricity, Advertising, Laundry, Gas etc.

\* Maintain/purchase of Equipment etc. and scheduling the services of the equipment.\* Depositing cash in bank or at safe place.

\* Assisting and suggesting Directors/Owners with regard to the food and labour Costs and ordering food supplies.

\* Ensuring Restaurant dining facilities comply with OH&S regulations and are tidy, functional and of suitable appearance.

\* Planning special functions and events in the restaurant.

\* Taking bookings for small events and functions, taking phone orders for delivery/takeaways, making reservations, greeting guests and other customer services.

\* Making sure that the customers get best services and food and taking regular feedback from them to maintain customer satisfaction and resolving customer complaints.

\* Selecting, Recruiting and Training Staff for the front house of the restaurant.

\* Examining the Quality and Quantity of drinks and food served as per the daily Menu. Check the products for quality, quantity, taste, freshness etc.

\* Following health and safety regulations.

\* Checking delivery and quality of the bought products.

\* Supervise the kitchen and dining services.

\* Oversee the food preparation, checking the quality of cooked food and the size of the serving.

\* Producing staff roasters.

\* Liaising with customers, employees, suppliers, licensing authorities, sales representatives etc.

 

Qualification: Energetic, hard working and relevant diploma level qualification.
