We are looking for a Permanent Full-time experienced Barista and hot drink specialists with a love for exemplary coffee and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. So if you got what it takes to be a superstar Barista, then come and join us!

We have a wide range of cafes on the University of Sydney main campus and we are looking for a Barista with loads of coffee making experience with a love for good food and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service!

Your main responsibilities in this flexible role will include:

• Using your winning smile and knowledge of our menu to make your customers feel welcome and that their satisfaction and repeat business are your top priority
• A variety of duties including making a range of high standard coffee/hot drinks, accurate order taking, cash handling, serving food, cleaning, general cafe duties and supporting the team as a whole with your infectious "can do" attitude

Hours of Work:  

38 hours per week, morning shift work between the hours of 6.30am-3pm during Monday-Friday (depending on the business' needs some flexibility is required)

You will have:

• At least 2 years' demonstrated experience in a fast paced, customer experience focused food environment (café / restaurant / hotels)
• At least 2 years' experience working with commercial coffee machines in a high volume environment (must be comfortable with 10kgs or more of coffee per day) and a passion for coffee
• An infectiously positive, flexible 'can do' attitude towards work
• Strong level of verbal and written communication skills
