In July 2018, a new chapter begins with the opening of Emporium Hotel South Bank, where boutique luxury will be elevated to a new level of style, comfort and service. Located in the $600m Southpoint precinct, Emporium Hotel South Bank features 143 luxuriously appointed suites, a spectacular 23m infinity edge pool and an abundance of premium food and beverage options by award-winning Brisbane chef Josue Lopez. 

  

We are now recruiting our opening team and are looking a range of Sous Chefs, Chef de Parties, Commis Chefs and Kitchen Stewards to join our kitchen team. 

 

Featuring six Food & Beverage outlets, each distinct in its offering, Emporium Hotel South Bank will offer locals, guests and residents a choice of unique experiences.

 

 You will need the following:

  • Experience in a busy restaurant environment or catering and events
  • Experience in delivering high quality food with a passion for your craft
  • Excellent personal presentation and attention to detail
  • The ability to work a 7-day roster, including nights and weekends;
  • Strong communication skills and highly developed organisational skills;
  • A willingness to learn and grow and a willingness to go above and beyond to deliver Exquisite Experiences for our guests, every time, every shift!
  • Eligibility to work in Australia.
  • Advantage if you have previous experience in 5 star, Michelin or hatted restaurants
