Wyndel Apartments specialises in Corporate Apartment Accommodation in Melbourne CBD and Sydney.

We seek an enthusiastic, and pro-active person with previous hospitality or reservations experience to join our small team at an exciting time as we expand our Melbourne business. The applicant should meet the following criteria, however if your are seeking a genuinely long term position, have accommodation or reservations experience and a desire to learn new things you will be considered.

Applicants who live close to Brighton or between the Brighton area and Southbank will be given preference.


Your role will include some or  possibly all of the following depending on your experience.

- Corresponding to and processing internet and phone reservations & inquiries

- Updating OTA & other third party websites

- Managing guest arrivals / departures & assisting with meet and greets

- Identifying and calling potential corporate clients

- Updating our client database using excel software            

- Amending, and processing bookings using the RMS Platform

- Assisting with general administration

The successful candidate should have;

- Minimum 1 year accommodation, reservations or travel industry experience

- Experience with PMS and Channel Manager systems, either RMS or Siteminder or similar

- Experience in dealing with and corporate clients

- Good sales skills and a passion to sell

- A friendly personality and be very well presented

- Advanced keyboard/digital skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- A positive 'can do' attitude and willingness to lend your hand to a variety of tasks

- A high level customer service skills

- The ability to work autonomously & assume personal responsibility for daily operations

- Reliable own transport is preferred. (car allowance provided)

This is a fantastically varied role with the opportunity to structure your work times around a flexible roster which includes some weekend, evening and on call hours on a fortnightly or three weekly basis. Starting and finishing times are negotiable to suit your lifestyle and your fellow team members and the essential daily tasks required within the business.
