Our client manages a luxury award-winning hotel in Melbourne's suburbs. The hotel features state-of-the-art rooms and unmatched facilities for events, business meetings, weddings and wellness. We are now searching for a very experienced and polished hotelier to take over as the General Manager of this very exquisite property.
The candidate must remember that she/he will be the face of the property and therefore must ensure that guests and their conveniences are top priority.
Desired Profile:
- Minimum 5 years experience as General Manager with Australia's leading hotels/resorts
- Candidate must NOT be a job hopper and have a career graph showing stability
- Implementing best practices in F&B, sales & marketing, cost control, mentoring/coaching employees as well rooms division
- Strong operational background with "hands-on" attitude to daily operations
- Implement budgets and optimize revenues
- "Driving" the business goals and managing the brand's integrity
- Candidate must be a great motivator and a natural leader who cares for the workforce and also ensures that the team delivers superior and quality services to all guests
