Location: Epping, Melbourne, Australia.
Position: Full time with immediate start.
Salary: $50 to 60K plus super per annum.
An exciting opportunity exists for an experience chef / cook for an Indian restaurant. Must be experienced in cooking tandoor & different type of curries & be available for an immediate start.
Duties include:
Preparing and cooking of all tandoori dishes and operating tandoor oven.
Preparing and cooking different types or curries and rice based dishes.
Ability to make different varieties of Indian sweets and savories.
Develop new and cost-effective menus based on supply or ingredients and season
Clean and maintain kitchen premises and ensure we comply with all regulations and follow proper OHS procedures.
Implement food safety procedures.
Train new entrants and coach others to ensure competent supply of employees.
Competent Assessment:
Must have Cert III in Commercial Cookery & have relevant experience based on the job requirement.
