With exciting growth over the last few years, MW Tours now has 2 x opportunities for Wholesale Travel Consultants to join their team, based in Springwood, QLD. These are full-time roles on a 5 day roster with occasional evening and weekend work.
Reporting to the General Manager of Operations & Reservations, Wholesale Travel Consultants provide an intermediary service between travel agents, clients and suppliers to plan prearranged FIT tours. These services may range from straightforward tasks such as booking direct flights, to coordinating entire tour experiences including itineraries, accommodation, transport, flights, day tours and much more.
Your day-to-day duties will include, but not be limited to:
- Liaising with clients in person, over the phone or via other channels (such as webchat, email, sms etc) to discuss their travel requirements;
- Advising clients on suitable options for our tour packages - which may include, domestic or international flights, accommodation, transport and insurance (but not limited to);
- Preparing customised itineraries to suit the clients’ preferences and budget;
- Providing up to date advice on travel regulations, baggage limits, safety and local customs. (excluding including visa and medical requirements - these must be referred onto the relevant authority); and
- Researching destinations and keeping up to date with travel industry news.
