Opening by early 2019, the new $5.4 million Integrated Wellness Centre will employ more than 45 staff and deliver a range of holistic health and wellness programs to the Broken Hill Community.

About the role: 

An exciting opportunity is now available for an experienced Café Supervisor to oversee and manage the brand new Wellness Café, located within the heritage listed former German Club with sweeping views across Sturt Park.

With indoor/outdoor seating for 30+ the café is in a prime position to service passing traffic including tourists, provide catering to guests in the meeting room and service existing and new clients that access the facility - an estimated 60,000 visits per annum.

With a major focus on quality coffee and simple, healthy, fresh yet innovative food that we will be sourcing quality produce for, the successful candidate must be dedicated to great customer service and foster a fun, harmonious and efficient work environment. The successful candidate will be Social Media savvy and support the promotion of the business through the management of Instagram and Facebook accounts. They will know how to take a good photo and dedicate a part of each working week to promoting the cafe within this space. The successful applicant will also be upskilled to support all elements of the customer experience by providing support to the frontline team.

What you will need to have:

• Flexibility to work across weekdays and weekends

• Barista Experience preferred

• Current Food Handling certificate (or equivalent)

• Previous Café or similar experience

• Social media savvy

• Current CPR

• Customer service experience

• WWC
