Your main responsibilities will include:
- Greet and welcome all guests.
- Provide information to and assist guests with hotel services
- Ensure a smooth efficient check in and out for guests
- Assist with after hours Reservation enquires
- Provide guests with an accurate and efficient checkout ensuring hospitality standards are followed
- Balance all transactions at the end of shift ensuring postings have the correct supporting documentation and discrepancies reported
- Undertaking general clerical & administrative duties
- Managing difficult situations including customer complaints
- Adhering to hotel grooming/dress standards
To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess previous front office or reception experience within a hospitality environment, strong computer literacy and the ability to deliver superior quality customer service. You can work effectively unsupervised, possess an understanding of cross-selling and problem solving techniques, and have strong administrative and organisational skills.
Knowledge of Property Management Systems, in particular Opera is highly desirable, along with experience working in a hospitality environment.
This position will involve shifts across a 7-day rotating roster and the successful candidate must be willing to work a range of early and late shifts as required, including on occasions a night shift.
