Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination
 
This is a NSW Health Category A position. All Category A applicants must read, understand and agree to comply with Policy Directive PD2011_005 Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination against Specified Diseases. Preferred applicants must provide evidence of protection against specified diseases prior to appointment and medical practitioner costs to determine protection is covered by the applicant.
 
Preferred applicants must also participate in a Pre-Employment Health Assessment (PEHA) prior to appointment.


What you'll be doing

To lead and manage the provision of Food and Patient Support Services to HealthShare NSW customers, provide direction to staff and effectively manage operational issues to ensure continuous effective service delivery and a performance-based, innovative, responsive and accountable customer focussed culture.

  • Experience in the operations and management of food and/or patient support services in a large complex organisation
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team, including well developed people management skills and communication and engagement skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a customer-focused organisation
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve business outcomes and the flexibility to adapt to changing role requirements as the organisation develops and expands
  • Demonstrated ability to undertake analysis and develop solutions for day-to-day challenges in an operational environment, including an understanding of basic business and financial concepts as they relate to day-to-day work
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate quality assurance principles into day-to-day operations and an understanding of relevant legislation, policy and professional standards, which are in the areas of food safety, infection control, cleaning, and work health and safety
  • Demonstrated computer skills and knowledge of Window-based programs, such as Word and Excel, and ability to use electronic devices.
