The Position
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Food and Beverage Attendant/Barista to join our team at The Qantas Club Townsville. In this role, you will be able to work as an all-rounder assisting with Food and Beverage, Cleaning and Kitchen Hand. Located in Townsville, this position requires flexibility in working hours as shifts will rotate between 4:30am – 9:30pm working 5 days out of a 7 day roster.
This role has the potential of becoming part time for the right candidate
Key duties
- Preparing and serving food and both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Required to make coffees
- Simple food preparation, ensuring to adhere to all food safety procedures
- Provision of excellent customer service
- Kitchen Cook or Kitchen Hand assistance
- Carry out general cleaning tasks

- Keen eye for detail with a flexible approach and a positive attitude
- Both a team player and able to work autonomously
- Outstanding grooming standards and personal presentation
- High standard of work ethics and reliability
- A current valid QLD RSA
