Easts Group is an organisation with a proud history and affiliation to the Sydney Roosters.

We are seeking a motivated, driven and experienced leader to join our team as a Casual Duty Manager at Easts Leagues, Bondi Junction.

This position is a great opportunity to work for a Club group that promotes from within, rewards hard work and values workers of all ages.

As a Duty Manager at Easts Leagues you will be an enthusiastic person, with a can-do attitude. You will report to the Operations Manager, and your primary focus will be to lead the frontline team, deliver exceptional customer service, whilst also assuming full accountability of the operational running of the club.  

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Ensuring all front of house and operational areas of Club run seamlessly, including provision of gaming technology, gaming services, cashier, reception, food and beverage services, entertainment, promotions, ensuring areas are sufficiently staffed.
  • Supervision and co-ordination of staff in the club, including training and mentoring
  • Finding solutions to customer issues and provide direction to staff as required
  • Monitoring compliance with all legislative requirements and Club policies
  • Ensuring high customer service standards are maintained at an optimum level
  • Manage the conduct and performance of staff and conduct probation & quarterly performance reviews
  • Act as a key advisor to the senior management team

Skills & experience:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience
  • Leadership experience
  • Experience within a Club environment
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to accurately and efficiently solve problems
  • A flexible approach to work is required, required to work a mix of days, nights, weekends, and public holidays
  • Current RSA & RCG competency card – essential
