Conveniently located adjacent to Melbourne Airport, PARKROYAL Melbourne Airport features 276 guest accommodation rooms, over 1000 square metres of conferencing space and the Airo Restaurant & Bar.
The supportive and fun Reservations Team at PARKROYAL Melbourne Airport is currently looking for an experienced and passionate Reservations Supervisor to join their friendly team on a permanent Full-Time basis.
The successful applicant will have a positive attitude, be a fantastic communicator, and be a natural team player who has the ability to multitask and maintain a high level of attention to detail under pressure.
The Role:
- Report to the Director of Revenue Management
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with guests and internal team members/departments
- Monitor the daily operations of the Reservations Department
- Review and compile reports (daily and monthly)
- Establish pick up trends, occupancy history, and market segment development to facilitate accurate forecasting
- Control rooms inventory including allotments, groups and individual reservations, to deliver maximum RevPAR
Ideally you will have:
- Experience executing the reservations function for 4 or 5 star properties
- Strong research and analytical abilities
- Diploma or higher from a recognised hospitality or tertiary institution
- Proven track record in leading and developing teams
- Opera PMS, Opera Reservations, and Siteminder experience (preferred)
