The BOATHOUSE FISHBAR is a trendy new seafood and dessert focused BAR/restaurant at the iconic Port of Airlie Marina. The restaurant is setting a new benchmark on the Airlie Beach dining scene with its relentless focus on good quality seafood, great drinks menu and innovative dishes.

Our role is to welcome marina residents, locals, and visitors with a warm and friendly smile, provide good food with efficient personalised service and be knowledgeable, confident and charming.

We’re looking for an ambitious and talented Venue Manager to support and lead our friendly team. 

Key to this role is someone who can manage and oversee the smooth running of the Restaurant operations including the bar, achieving business objectives through customer focused service delivery and by developing a knowledgeable and consistent team with a strong company culture.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Run a day to day operation of the BAR/Restaurant
  • Manage Kitchen and Service Staff
  • Manage the Café Financials from cost to profitability
  • Build strong customer relationships and drive Loyalty
  • Control the F&B product quality and consistency
  • Come up with great seasonal offerings to drive maximum revenue
     

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Up to date Queensland Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate
  • Good computer knowledge
  • Good knowledge of POS systems and ability to operate an online rostering system
  • A friendly, customer focused attitude
  • Previous 2 years of management experience within a busy BAR/Restaurant
