We are seeking energetic, fun, reliable and self-motivated team players who have a passion for providing an exceptional customer service experience to every guest, every time to join our Food & Beverage team.
The role of a Food & Beverage Assistant is to engage with our guests and provide service excellence across our Food & Beverage Outlets, Mobile Vending, Event and Function Operations for both Dreamworld and WhiteWater World. Our Food & Beverage Assistants are also responsible for the preparation and service of a variety of menu items, therefore previous experience in the areas of fast food, coffee making, waitressing/events, or bar work will be highly advantageous.
The role of a Kitchen Hand is to maintain kitchen cleanliness and hygiene standards within our outlet food outlets including sorting and washing dishes using a commercial dishwasher and by hand, as well as maintaining cleanliness of equipment, floors and storage areas.
To be considered you must have:
- Exceptional customer service and guest engagement skills;
- Cash handling skills and EFT/POS processing experience;
- Ability to work efficiently whilst under pressure;
- Ability to work as part of a team whilst displaying a high level of initiative;
- Exceptional grooming and presentation standards;
- Good availability for shifts and flexibility to work across a 7-day rotational roster;
- Previous experience in a fast paced customer service environment, high volume function/events or Kitchen Hand experience is preferred.
These roles also involve manual handling, therefore good physical dexterity is required, along with the ability to perform physically demanding work. Hours of work will vary, therefore flexibility for rostering purposes is required and weekend work is essential.
These vacancies are offered on a seasonal casual basis until mid-February 2019, with the opportunity to apply for ongoing vacancies at the end of the contract.
