Reporting to the Chief Steward, you will be responsible for supervising and organising a large team of Stewarding staff in accordance with company policies and procedures and regulatory requirements. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic team environment and is looking for their next challenge within hospitality.

Ideal candidates will have the following skills and experience:

• Supervisory experience of a large team – a must!
• Demonstrated ability to provide efficient stewarding services to food production departments.
• Experience with the coordination of personnel issues including assisting with performance appraisals and managing employee relations.
• Ability to provide assistance maintaining budgets and ensuring sufficient staff to guest ratios through effective rostering and staff allocation.
• Ability to maintain a safe working environment in accordance with OH&S procedures as well as ensuring the upkeep of clean work areas and equipment at all times in accordance with departmental standards.
• Involvement in the development of training initiatives and conducting on the job training for employees.
• High level written and oral communications skills.
• Effective and organised administrative skills.
