ICC Sydney is a $1.5 billion development that has transformed the Darling Harbour precinct. The project delivered 35,000sqm of internal exhibition space, the largest commercial kitchen in the southern hemisphere, Australia’s largest ballroom, an open air event deck, and an 8000 seat entertainment theatre.

We are currently looking to recruit a world-class Event Planner (casual) to play a vital role in our Event Services Team.  The successful candidate will need to be able to work a 38 hour week, Monday – Friday.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and execute events as the in conjunction with the broader Event Services team.
  • Identify and communicate the needs of the customer to other internal departments to ensure proper service throughout the Centre’s operation for assigned groups.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of new innovations, improvements to processes, and improvements or upgrades to existing ICC Sydney products and services.


The Successful Candidate will:

  • Ideally bring extensive event planning experience in large event, convention exhibition & multi venue coordination capacity.
  • Preferably possess 3 to 5 years’ experience within a similar style role managing 1000+ attendee events.
  • Have a proven track record in delivering successful, first class events and services. 
  • Have planning and stakeholder engagement experience, inordinate attention to detail and respect for both protocol and deadlines. 
  • Have experience using an Event Management System such as Ungerboeck or similar.
