About the role
We have an exciting new casual opportunity for a great Cook to help out in our friendly and passionate team at Puckapunyal Childcare Centre and provide coverage during annual and sick leave. Our Centre provides quality education and care to children and you can enjoy afternoons off work.
Duties
- Plan in advance for the preparation of weekly meals
- Undertake menu planning and ordering of supplies
- Ensure the kitchen is kept in a clean and hygienic state
- Identify and report any accidents or incidents
- Adhere to food safety standards at all time
Qualifications & experience
- Great cooking skills and the confidence to cook in large volumes
- Current Food Handling Certificate or prepared to gain one
- The ability to plan a strong and nutritious menu for children
- Current drivers licence to be able to travel and pick up grocery’s and supplies
- Current Working with Children Check or the ability to gain one
As part of our Employment screening process you will be required to undertake a National criminal history check.
