Our client, owners of several holiday parks around Australia is seeking a Caretaker / Maintenance Person for their successful holiday park in the south eastern suburbs of Melbourne.
The Caretaker will provide assistance and support to the Park Managers and experience is preferred but relevant transferable skills will also be considered.
We are looking for a hardworking, personable individual with excellent customer service skills who will predominantly take care of the grounds and maintenance, but also be able to help out in the office from time to time if needed.
The position is full time working on a roster of 10 days on, 4 days off which will include some weekends and public holidays.
Applicants must have:
- Customer service experience and enjoy a high amount of people contact
- Be physically fit
- Ability to work under pressure and learn quickly
- Understanding of WHS responsibilities
- Good handyman skills (a trade certificate would be highly desirable)
- Current drivers licence
- Experience with RMS preferred but not essential
- Working with children check
