We are seeking an enthusiastic 2nd Chef with a flair for produce, preparation and presentation to work in our client's retirement living community.
Hours of Work
Sunday
6.30am-5.30pm
Key Responsibilities include:
- Preparation of home style nutritious meals
- Larder duties, sandwiches, salads, desserts etc
- Baking.
- Assist the chef with function planning and presentation
- Texture Modified Meals
The Successful applicant will need to demonstrate:
- Formal trade qualifications
- A passion for high end meal production and presentation
- An understanding of Food Safety, HACCP, Quality Assurance procedures and WH&S
- Ability to lead the kitchen in the absence of the chef manager.
- Attention to detail
- Exceptional communication skills
- Ability to multi task
- Flexibility and reliability and ability to follow instructions.
Previous experience is essential
Full company training and induction will be given.
The successful applicant will be required to provide a current Federal Police Check Certificate or be willing to submit one
