Cater Care are currently seeking Part Time Catering Assistants for ongoing work at our Aged Care facility in North Sydney
The key to our success is our people and your role in this environment is to provide friendly, attentive and efficient service to our valued residents.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Basic food preparation, plating up and serving food to elderly residents.
- Responsible for delivery of special diets and diet requirements including allergies/intolerance, supplements and texture modified soft & purees.
- Customer service, warm friendly interaction with elderly residents.
- General cleaning of the kitchen and dining areas including washing dishes.
- Compliance to food safety hygiene and food handling/preparation procedures.
- Additional hour available in Laundry or Cleaning.
- Good customer service, strong communication skills.
- Previous experience within Aged Care food service or working with vulnerable persons.
- Food handling experience (preferred).
- Ability to work independently, yet as part of a team.
Roster: Part Time Work available 7 days various hours Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner service
Please note: successful applicants will be required to undergo a Police Clearance before commencing.
Successful candidates will have previous experience in a similar role working in Aged Care, Health or Hospitals, be well presented and self-motivated with a strong focus on customer care.
