Natural History is a simple, good, big city joint. It's ambitious but not pretentious, it gets rowdy and is a lot of fun! Think Balthazar NYC but without the French cuisine. It will change gears each day, serving morning eats and coffee and new style business lunches to suits during the day through to food lovers and natural wine nuts at night.
About the role
We are currently on the hunt for an experienced Pastry Chef and a Chef De Partie to join out growing kitchen team.
Our Chef's are be responsible for:
- Contributing to menu development and production
- Food quality and service
- Contributing to a productive work environment
- Accountability for their section including prep, daily set up, pack down, cleaning, ordering and service
- Food hygiene, sanitation and safety
- Focus on cost control and waste minimisation
To be successful in these roles, you must be able to demonstrate the following;
- Significant experience in a similar style venue
- Excellent communication skills
- Calm and professional personality
- Strong organisational planning and time management
- Team player that can work under pressure and is prepared to go the extra mile
