About the business

Cuddles Childcare Centre is a WA family owned and operated Centre committed to forming a close-knitted community between families and educators so as to provide excellence of teaching and learning through which children are able to thrive and develop their individual abilities in a safe and supportive environment.

About the role

We have a new centre opening in Two Rocks in September 2018. This centre will feature many sustainable practices such as a vegetable garden. The successful applicant for the position of Food Coordinator, will be an individual who loves creating healthy nutritious meals using produce from the garden.  

Children at the service will be provided 5 meals a day. Your duties include (but are not limited to):

  • Planning and preparing all meals
  • Keeping your work space clean
  • Purchasing of groceries when needed
  • Incorporating produce from the vegetable garden in your meals.

This position is permanent part-time, working 25 hours a week.

Skills and experience

  • 1 year experience in a similar role
  • Certificate II in Kitchen Operations
  • Current working with children's check
  • Knowledge of the health and safety regulation
  • Passionate about gardening
