Café Assistant Trainee

• 16-week Traineeship Position
• SEED Trainee Wage (minimum wage)

As an initiative of Council’s Disability Action Plan 2014-23, people with a disability who are passionate about working in the hospitality industry, will be recruited to work as trainees at Crown St Stables Community Café.

Across a 16-week period, trainees will be provided a supportive and encouraging work environment in order to build skills which aim to be transferable to mainstream employment.

Councils Café Assistant Trainee position has an Equal Opportunity exemption and applications for this role are only open to people with disability under Section 28 of the Equal Opportunity Act (2010).

We are looking for people who live in Moonee Valley or have connections to the municipality. Applicants need to be completing (or recently completed) a qualification in hospitality and have a food handlers certificate.
