The Business Unit
The Ticketing & Visitor Experience team sits within the Development & Audience Engagement pillar and is responsible for proactively delivering personalised services of value that create the ultimate experience before, during and after each visit.
The team is comprised of service and support teams for Ticketing, Front of House, Car Park, Welcome Team, Guided Tours and Applications that support all of these areas.
As part of the team, you will welcome everyone to Arts Centre Melbourne and proactively champion an exceptional visitor experience by providing information, tourism, ticketing and retail services to ensure that each visitor maximises their time with us and engages in the performing arts.- Providing high quality, personalised service that exceeds expectations
- Processing single ticket sales, subscriptions, packages and group sales
- Maintaining a consistent, current and accurate knowledge of Arts Centre Melbourne, Australian Music Vault, cultural precinct and other Melbourne events
- Delivering personalised, informative and outstanding Public Guided Tours
- Monitoring and maintaining the presentation of public spaces, including the provision of relevant promotional/informational material
- Selling a range of Australian Music Vault and other merchandise
- Experience in the delivery of proactive customer service resulting in successful and enjoyable customer experiences
- Experience with handling and balancing a variety of payment methods
- Ability to communicate in languages other than English for whom English is not the first language (advantage)
- Moderate computer literacy skills
- Stand, sit and/or move for long periods of time
- At times lift and transport boxes of merchandise and brochures, as well as other packages and parcels
- Work daytimes, evenings and weekends
