Chef and restaurateur Scott Pickett has unveilled his latest venue, Matilda, a contemporary Australian neighbourhood restaurant located on South Yarra's Domain Road, on the ground floor of hotly anticipated boutique hotel, United Places.

Matilda 159  is an exciting new venture that is fuelled by open fire and hot coals, delivering great food, strong design and a feeling of comfort and warmth.

Ideal candidates will demonstrate for the Sous Chef role:

  • Passion for and knowledge of the restaurant industry
  • Excellent food knowledge with a desire to learn
  • Ability to work all sections of a kitchen including pastry
  • Michelin Star or 2 hat level experience
  • 2-3 years in a similar role
