Palm Lake Care have a strong drive to improve the nutrition and food experience of our aging population. We are currently seeking highly motivated Food Service Assistants to join our team at Palm Lake Care Bethania.

About the Role:

• Assisting the Cook with the preparation of food 
• The serving of high quality meals to residents
• Cleaning and general hospitality duties
• Delivering excellent customer service to our residents and their families
• Hours will range across a 7 day roster from 6:00am to 7:30pm

What we are looking for:

• Readiness and willing to learn new skills and be trained across multiple services
• The ability to manage competing priorities and take initiative 
• Ability to work as a part of a team in a proactive support role to cook
• National Police Check
• Excellent hygiene standards
• Prior experience in a similar role within Aged Care (considered favorably)
• A Knowledge of Food Safety Standards is desirable
