The St George Motor Boat Club is located on the picturesque Kogarah Bay with majestic views over the beautiful Georges River and the latest State of the Art Marina in Sydney. The Club does over 600 functions per year, has 90 poker machines, 240 berth Marina and strong bar and cafe sales, contract catering and has 28,000 members.

The Club is seeking a Cafe Manager to join our Baybreeze Cafe team to help with the running of our successful Baybreeze Cafe. You will report directly to the Operations Manager. Within the role you will be responsible for the day to day running of the cafe.
Key areas of responsibility include:
- Ensuring adequate staffing. This includes being available to organise emergency relief.
- Train/Instruct staff in all facets of their job when required or necessary in an efficient and effective manner
- Ensuring good staff/patron liaison.
- Be prepared to help out in any area of the Club as required.
- Deal with and report any patron misconduct to the Operations Manager/CEO.
- Overseeing the work of all general cafe staff.
- Answering patron queries about specific Club functions.
Skills and experience
- We are looking for someone with strong barista skills, a keen attention to detail, time management skills and the ability work in a fast paced environment
