ABOUT THE COMPANY
Our client, the Mill Hotel, are currently seeking a Duty Manager to join their dynamic team. Mill Hotel is a large family friendly pub during the day and on weekends transforms into a nightclub.
The pub has multiple bars and function facilities where you will gain extensive knowledge and exposure within a hospitality environment.
DUTIES
- Opening and closing the hotel
- Stock control and ordering for the hotel
- Staff training and supervision
- Ensuring staff provide professional and timely service to patrons in all areas of the hotel
- Assist senior management with night operations
- Ensuring compliance with licensing laws and other statutory regulations
- Handling customer complaints in a timely manner
- Cash handling and accounting for shift takings
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
To be successful in this position you will have previous experience in a similar supervisory role within a hospitality environment, a strong customer focus and a willingness and availability to work weekends and late nights. RSA and RCG are also essential.
