About the role
JOB TITLE: DATE: Function & Events Supervisor
REPORTS TO: Wedding Coordinator
HOURS: Permanent Part Time / Full Time
DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
· Assisting with office administration; including completion of run sheets, menus,
rosters & responding to restaurant booking enquiries.
· Administration including ordering stationary, restaurant & kitchen supplies.
· Liaising with clients to secure function / group bookings. This includes meeting with clients to
discuss events and finer details of functions.
· Run errands including banking, change orders, postage & pick up of restaurant stock.
· Assisting the wedding coordinator with run sheets, floorplans & wedding client liaison.
· Assisting the restaurant supervisor with set up of functions & running of restaurant.
· With training, be able to supervise weddings & functions.
· Conduct meetings with clients & wedding tours / inspections.
REQUIRED LICENECES / CERTIFICATIONS
· Drivers licence
· Responsible Service of Alcohol
KEY SELECTION CRITERIA
· Available Saturdays & Sundays
· Demonstrate ability to communicate with staff & provide leadership
· Demonstrate a high level of confidentiality
· Demonstrate ability to deal with customers in a polite and respectful way
· Demonstrate ability to work well within a team as well as be able to work autonomously
