The Barreau Hotel Group is currently seeking an experienced Chef for the Sundowner Hotel Motel situated in Whyalla,South Australia.
The Hotel offers a family friendly atmosphere with a busy Bistro & Bar, alfresco dining area, sports bar, 33 machine Jackpot Gaming room,37 deluxe motel units & a Thirsty Camel Bottleshop.
Reporting directly to the Head Chef you will form part of our kitchen team & assist in the daily operation of a high volume kitchen operation.
The successful applicant must

Have the relevant qualifications & previous experience in a similar position in a commercial cooking environment.

Have the ability to produce consistent high quality food from a high volume kitchen prepared from a varied a la carte style menu.

Assist in the training of kitchen staff including any apprentices or trainees.

Have a desire to work with & be part of our team.

Be able to work on a flexible roster,including weekends,public holidays,morning,day,evening and split shifts.
