We are looking for an Full Time organised telephonist with excellent customer service skills to join the team. Reporting to the Front Office Manager, this is a great opportunity to work within a strong team to develop your career in a supportive, fun and customer focused environment.
The Role:
- Answer and direct all calls in a articulate, friendly, professional and timely manner
- Excellent Telephone etiquette
- Be able to answer and deal with a wide range of guest enquiries and requests
- Promote hotel facilities and associated loyalty programs
- Provide administrative support to Front Office Management Team and Guest Service Agents
Ideally you will have:
- Experience with Opera or similar PMS system
- Excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills
- 1-2 years' experience within a hotel environment
- Previous experience in managing a busy switchboard
- A passion for the hospitality industry & have an eye for detail
- A customer service focus and enjoy working in a team environment
- An outgoing personality and good presentation
- The ability to work shift work including evening and weekends
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Multilingual advantageous
