About the Job:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified Chef Manager/Head of Catering to join a leading Aged Care provider in this thriving sector. Your strong communication and leadership skills are essential for the management of all BOH and FOH staff, kitchen budgets, menu design and key stakeholders, both internal and external. You will run a cost-effective and efficient kitchen with a cook fresh philosophy, and the opportunity to use your creative talents. You will be hands-on, process driven and have the ability to lead your team to produce and deliver high quality, beautifully presented meals for a small group of residents. Hours are family friendly and are so very rare - Monday - Friday with every weekend off!!
About You:
You will have previous experience as a Chef Manager/Head of Catering, ideally with a background in high-end Aged Care, Independent Living or Catering. Your experience with staff management and development, budgets, food costing, menu design and general administration, including payroll will be complimented by your approachable, flexible nature and outstanding leadership qualities.
