About the role:
Travel is changing at RAA. This is an exciting time to join our team as we evolve the way we do business.
We’re undertaking a total refurbishment of our shop network, to include a much stronger focus on Travel. We are collaborating with our On-line and IT teams to ensure the consultant and client experience is as sleek, modern and efficient as possible and are investing heavily in employee training, marketing and product development.
Responsibilities:
• Create and manage end to end travel bookings tailored to each customer’s needs
• Provide a high quality customer service experience for all customers
• Achieve and exceed set sales targets
• Research and maintain an extensive knowledge of travel industry products, systems and processes
• Be flexible with a 7 day roster and occasionally work at other locations within metropolitan Adelaide
What you need:
• Extensive experience in a Travel Consultant or similar retail role
• A demonstrated track record of reaching high performing sales targets
• Outstanding attention to detail along with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask
• Knowledgeable in Galileo Flight Reservation system and other travel booking systems
• Knowledge in both international and domestic products
• Knowledge of the Friedman sales system or similar model is desired
• Intermediate PC skills
