Our client an iconic local venue is currently seeking an experienced Duty Manager to provide effective leadership and support to their team based in Albury-Wodonga.
This exciting opportunity will encompass responsibilities across customer service, staff supervision, stock management and ensuring compliance with company policy and procedures.
The person we seek will possess demonstrated experience in management or team supervision, ideally from previous experience in a hospitality environment. Your dynamic personality, professionalism and great organisational skills will be valued in this fast paced, popular venue.
Duties
- Opening and closing the venue
- Stock control and ordering for the venue
- Staff training and supervision
- Ensuring staff provide professional and timely service to patrons
- Assist senior management with night operations
- Ensuring compliance with licensing laws and other statutory regulations
- Handling customer complaints in a timely manner
- Cash handling and accounting for shift takings
You will also have experience in a supervisory role within the customer service industry, strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to work with and lead a team within a fast paced industry. Previous experience in the hotel and/or gaming industry is highly desirable.
